Award of the World Federation of ADHD for Marcel Schulze

Marcel Schulze from the University Hospital Bonn received the “Young Scientists Award 2023” of the World Federation of ADHD for his project “Assessing brain iron and its relationship to cognition in children with ADHD with quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM)”.

He worked on this project together with colleagues from Melbourne during his 3-month research stay in Australia, which was supported by BM-AXIS. During his time in Melbourne, Marcel Schulze performed research in the laboratories of Prof. Tim Silk (Deakin University Melbourne; Developmental Neuropsychiatry, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute School of Psychology) and of Prof. Dave Coghill (University of Melbourne; Paediatrics Royal Children’s Hospital.)
