The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI) was established in 1915 and is Australia’s oldest medical research institute. It is closely affiliated with the University of Melbourne and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a multi-disciplinary medical research centre WEHI has an outstanding international reputation for cutting-edge research in immunology, infections, haematology, cancer, structural biology and bioinformatics.
